The sound system is powered by 2 9V batteries (not included) that are connected via a harness in the tender bed, under the coal load (accessible by opening the coal bed doors and gently pushing the load up). No track power is needed to activate the sound system. The switch for the sound system is in one of the tender hatches. The speaker is in the locomotive, so the wiring harness does need to be connected for the sound to work correctly. 

Cylinder covers are included. They are removable and not secured by anything, so we have them in a parts bag for shipment.

Marker tender lights are included. They are removable and not secured by anything, so we have them in a parts bag for shipment.

There is an opening hatch on the fireman's side that has a switch that will disengage the motor so that the model can be displayed with sound and lights while on rollers.

Almost all of the opening hatches have 'latches' on them, so be sure to disengage the latches before opening the hatches, as the latches will break if not released first.
