One of the Largest Brass Model Railroad Suppliers in the World!

Starting as a novice model railroader, Dan Glasure helped support his hobby by buying and selling small collections. Eventually he teamed up with his dad and a business was formed. For nearly 15 years, first with Dan’s Train Depot and then in 2005 with BRASSTRAINS.COM, both companies have continued to expand. In 2001 Dan’s father, Carl, sadly passed away. However, with the help of his family, friends, and staff, BRASSTRAINS.COM is now One of the Largest Brass Model Railroad Suppliers in the World!

Our Accomplishments

In 2007 we published a 304-page photo book (pictured bottom left) of Brass Trains filled with 700 beautiful images and interviews with some of the biggest names in the industry. In the Spring of 2008, we compiled our first edition of the Brass Model Price & Data Guide Book which became an invaluable reference tool. We updated that in 2009 with the second edition of our Price & Data Guide (pictured middle). For the first time, our customers can view all the information in both volumes of our price & Data Guide along with the latest information on our online Brass Guide Live (pictured right). After free registry, you can create alert lists, search for data, view photos, track your collection value, and see constant price updates on various models online.
