PROTOTYPE HISTORY: On October 18, 2005 Union Pacific Chairman Dick Davidson presented our 41st President, George H.W. Bush with a new EMD SD70ACe locomotive specially painted in an 'Air Force One' type paint scheme adapted to the locomotive. The unit is lettered George Bush 41 Presidential Library and Museum with road number 4141. Overland Models, Inc will be creating the models in N, HO, and O scales in the commerative paint scheme in limited productions. The locomotive presentation took place on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station TX at a private ceremony. The locomotive is a beautiful addition to Union Pacific's specially painted locomotives most recently including three Heritage Series SD70ACe's, the Olympic Torch Relay SD70Ms, Olympic Torch Relay SD40-2s, United Way SD40-2, and the Operation Desert Storm SD40-2. The UP-BUSH 4141 locomotive is presented as a kick-off ceremony for George Bush Presidential Library and Museum exhibit titled Trains: Tracks of the Iron Horse. http://bushlibrary.tamu.edu/
